Intro: A Little About Us!

Hi!

I’m Taylor Wiesner, owner of Yellow Door ABA, formerly known as Wiesner ABA. At Yellow Door, we provide quality in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services to children and adults across the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex. Thank you for stopping by! We are so glad you’re here. At Yellow Door ABA, we want to meet you where your child and your family need it the most. Whether that is in school services, clinic based, social skills groups, or in-home, we will work with you on an individualized plan for your specific child. We recognize that not all children are the same and there is no one-size-fits-all ABA approach.

Originally from Nacogdoches, I received my Bachelors in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 2012 and my Masters in Special Education- Low Incidence Disabilities and Autism from Sam Houston State University in 2014. I now live in Dallas with my husband, Joe, our 3 boys, Eli, Rex and Ike, and our sweet golden retriever, Lucy. 

I fell in love with the field of ABA in college when working with a sweet teen who was diagnosed with autism. After working at an amazing clinic in Houston for 2 years, I got my BCBA in 2014 and I have been fortunate enough to work in a variety of different environments in clinic, at schools, and in-home. At Yellow Door, we believe there is no one size fits all approach to ABA. We prioritize relationships with our clients and specialize in creating programs that fit each individual’s specific needs. 

In January of 2020, Joe and I opened our first We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym franchise in Dallas! After working in the behavior therapy field for several years, I realized there really wasn’t a place in the community where all kiddos could play and learn together, despite any physical or developmental differences they may have. In an effort to unite my two worlds, we opened We Rock the Spectrum Dallas! After a crazy first year (thanks COVID!), we are so thankful for the support of our community and love seeing everyone come together at the gym!
